pan-seared cod

Super quick & easy recipe to cook a fillet of cod:



  • cod fillets
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat & lightly coat with olive oil.
  2. Season the cod fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the cod (skin-side up if the skin is left on) in the pan and cook for about 4 minutes.
  4. Flip the fillet and continue cooking for about another 4 minutes, or until desired firmness.
  5. Transfer to a plate and serve as desired!
