dragonfruit banana smoothie

Dragonfruit, also known as pitaya, is a beautiful & tropical fruit that has amazing health benefits! It is amazing for your digestive system (you’ll see what I mean after having some) and is packed with antioxidants. I have several sitting in my refrigerator at the moment thanks to my mom, so I’ve decided to try one of them in a smoothie!


Ingredients: (Yields 2 servings)
– 1 dragonfruit, cubed
– 1 banana, coined
– 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein
– 1 cup of skim milk (can substitute w/ soy or almond)

1) Prepare all of the above ingredients and put into a blender.
2) Blend until there are no chunks of banana left and enjoy!
